At Bikeworks, we believe everyone should have access to cycling to increase physical activity, wellbeing, and connectivity, with environmental impact interwoven throughout.

We are an award winning charitable social enterprise operating all around London – all the bikes built during our Team Building Events are then gifted to local charities and community projects. In addition, we reinvest 100% of profits into our community cycling programmes such as our All Ability Clubs.

About the bikes
Children's bikes

Bikeworks have been working in partnership with LEYF (London Early Years Foundation) a fellow Social Enterprise and nursery for the past 3 years. We deliver childrens bicycles into a nursery environment to get kids active from early years. In addition to this LEYF loan cycles in order to maximise the cycling experience at weekends and holidays.

As a social enterprise, having a sustainable legacy is an important part of our story – the impact of our founding vision will continue far beyond our 18 years.

That’s why this year we want you to support Bikeworks in celebrating the Paris 2024 Games, together we can create even more impact across our communities. Bikeworks is on a mission – we want to donate 206 BMX bikes to children and young people.

Adult bikes

Bikeworks supports long term unemployed people back into work via a number of employment pathways. The bicycle is the best starting point to ensure someone can move around the capital.

We also run a number of programmes that support cycling for wellbeing. With close relationships with mental health charities you can donate adult cycles in order to give people a healthy mind and body.

The bikes will be gifted to the charity of your choice, to one of our community partners, or gifted to one of our free All-Ability Clubs.

All-Ability Clubs are designed for people with physical, sensory or learning disabilities, people with health conditions and carers, to enjoy cycling by accessing an exciting range of adapted cycles.

Where can you donate the bikes you build?

If you have a charity of your choice the bikes will be safety checked at the end of the event and onward transport can be arranged.

You also have the option to support one of our partners. At Bikeworks, we work with several organisations which operate at different scales, from local community projects to nurseries around London.
