A Bikeworks Team Building Event is a corporate team building with a difference. Not only will you participate in some fantastic bicycle-based challenges but your event will also directly benefit a charity of your choice. Participants must work together within their teams to achieve the end goal of building a bike which will then be donated to a nominated charity.

The activity encourages communication, creativity, dexterity and through participating in the challenges a bit of fun competition as well!

Sessions can be delivered across the UK in order to dovetail into your organisations team developments days. Or, you can visit us at the London Velodrome in the Olympic park where we will host you in the world class venue. 

Did you know the business plan for Bikeworks was originally called Olympic Bikes?

Inspired by London winning the hosting rights for the 2012 Games,‘Olympic Bikes’ seized what would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to include local communities, and 18 years ago the vision and business plan for what would become Bikeworks was created on the kitchen table of Co-Founder Zoe Portlock.

As a social enterprise, having a sustainable legacy is an important part of our story at Bikeworks, the impact of our founding vision will continue to carry on far beyond our 18 years. 

That’s why this year we want you to support Bikeworks in celebrating the Paris 2024 Games, together we can create even more impact across our communities. Bikeworks is on a mission – we want to donate 206 BMX bikes to children and young people. 

From April to September when you purchase a Bikeworks Team Building Event, your team activity will be building and donating BMX’s to children and young people across London’s communities, to inspire the next generation.   

Why 206? – that’s how many countries will be competing during the Paris 2024 Game.
